As a Cybersecurity focused Field CTO for Citrix, you will be responsible for evangelizing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals and supports our growth plans. You will help to guide our product direction, acquisitions, and strategic partnership decisions.

Objectives of this role
● Understanding the current Citrix Security portfolio and how we best position
ourselves to solve customer problems around secure access. Identifying and
evaluating how we can benefit from developing or acquiring the latest
technologies, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business
impact.
● Collaborating closely with customer leadership, technical teams, and
Cybersecurity stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive
adoption of the Citrix platform, focused on our Cybersecurity capabilities.
● Providing strong leadership and guidance to technology teams, (customer,
partner, and internal resources) fostering a culture of collaboration and
continuous learning.
● Accelerating innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services and
processes for optimum efficiency.
● Managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and
selecting the most suitable solutions and services.
● Collaborate with customer CISOs, IT, and security teams to align cybersecurity
initiatives with business objectives, regulatory compliance and operational
resilience.
● Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends, continuously
refining security architectures and response strategies.
● Represent the organization at industry events, forums, and with key
stakeholders, evangelizing cybersecurity best practices and innovative solutions.

Required skills and qualifications

● A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related
field.

● 15+ years of experience in a customer facing technology role, pre, or post sales.
● Deep understanding of technology trends, implementation best practices, and the real-world competitive landscape in the SSE, SASE, Data Protection, and Cloud
Security market.
● Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure management, and
cybersecurity best practices.
● Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops technology.
● CISSP or similar Cyber Security certification(s).
● 3+ years working directly for a leading SSE provider such as Zscaler or Netskope
with a deep understanding of SWOT in this market.
● 10+ years as an IT Architect and deep understanding of Security Architecture.
