As part of this team, you'll collaborate with other Citrix go-to-market teams to execute on a shared vision with our customers and help them achieve their strategic goals.

Our team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that prioritizes adaptability, knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes. Our core mission is to empower customers in achieving their strategic objectives and overcoming obstacles when implementing Citrix technologies. To do this, we need to understand our solutions deeply – how they work at a fundamental level – and continuously master the leading practices for real-world deployments.

Job Description

As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Account Technology Strategists, leveraging your professional experience to provide hands-on product expertise and lead technical delivery for diverse customer segments, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies. This role involves blending technical implementation with effective stakeholder communication and project leadership to ensure successful adoption and expansion of Citrix solutions.

This position demands a strong foundation in technical consulting practices, the ability to independently manage two or more projects concurrently, and a commitment to peer growth through knowledge sharing. You will serve as a key resource in core and designated specialist focus areas pertaining to Citrix technologies, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to accelerate time to value for our customers.

To achieve this, all Citrix consultants are dedicated to establishing and maintaining lab environments for continuous learning and innovation. We also actively provide insights to product management and engineering teams, strategically guiding the evolution of our solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and engage stakeholders and exhibit strong customer service skills in all interactions.

  • Drive adoption and expansion of Citrix products through various activities, including but not limited to technical presentations, demos, environment assessments, health checks, and designs.

  • Lead projects by validating and managing scope, requirements, tasks, and documentation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of outcomes.

  • Design, implement, and optimize Citrix solutions tailored to customer requirements while ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

  • Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes, navigate technical decisions, and establish productive communication.

  • Proactively manage project success by communicating status, next steps, and risks to stakeholders as needed, while identifying and mitigating challenges through strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Adapt to changes in project direction while maintaining a focus on strategic goals to deliver customer value.

  • Maintain a commitment to sharing knowledge, lessons learned, and leading practices to foster team growth and enhance customer engagement.

  • Continuously develop knowledge in relevant industry technologies, especially those foundational and complementary to Citrix solutions.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% if required.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., engineering, professional services, advanced technical support) within a high-tech or enterprise IT setting, where you've been responsible for delivering complex technical solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver and implement complex technical projects across multiple simultaneous customer engagements.

  • Experienced in End-User Computing (EUC) engineering, including virtual desktop and application delivery, advanced endpoint protection, and the design and/or implementation of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.

  • Experience analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues within enterprise IT environments, leveraging advanced troubleshooting methodologies and a data-driven approach.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, coupled with a strong customer service mindset.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Implementation and operational knowledge of core Citrix technologies, including Virtual Apps and Desktops, DaaS, and NetScaler Gateway.

  • Certifications in leading cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud are beneficial as they complement our hybrid infrastructure solutions.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform, is highly valued.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent demonstrable expertise gained through extensive professional experience and industry certifications.
