We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join Cloud Software Group’s global HR organization. The role will report to the Director, HRBP in our San Ramon office. Job Description

As a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Cloud Software Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our success by strategically partnering with designated business units and their leadership teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor on human resources-related matters, translating business needs into solutions that drive performance, engagement, and critical talent development. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, a proactive approach to HR challenges, and the ability to influence and lead change effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and challenges, integrating HR strategies to support organizational goals

  • Provide counsel on workforce planning and organizational design

  • Support the team in handling performance management matters, including providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Assist with regular company-wide rhythm of the business cycles (ex: merit planning, promotion planning, and performance reviews)

  • Assist with organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication 

  • Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and recommend solutions to business leaders

  • Act as a primary point of contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses

  • Partner with regional HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence 

  • Continuously assess and improve HR workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Serve as a collaborative team player and project manager on HR projects to further enhance efficiencies and solve business needs

  • Foster a positive work environment

Required Experience/Skills

  • 4-6 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, with exposure to a broad range of HR functions

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using HR data to drive decisions

Nice-to-Haves

  • Proficiency with Workday

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gemini

  • Experience working for a fast-paced global technology company

  • Experience with HR AI tools and strategies

Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges: $109,559-$164,339 CA generally ranges: $114,322-$171,484 All other locations fall under our General State range: $95,269-$142,903 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
