You are a Senior Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in one or more object oriented programming language(s) (C#/Java/C/C++). You have gained hands on programming skills and have extensive knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, algorithms and scripting languages/frameworks. You have a passion for solving complex problems and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to transform their business.

Position Overview

This position is for our Secure Private Access / Zero Trust Network Access / Endpoint Management product group. The engineer will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for the products, which is used by enterprises to secure, manage and control  devices , content , apps and data. This role will sit in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Role Responsibilities

• Design & develop system software for multiple platforms like Windows, Linux, MacOS including mobile platforms like iOS and Android
• Produce innovative technical solutions for the above platforms
• Work with QA to ensure product meets quality standards
• Contribute to code reviews, implement unit tests, address static analysis issues
• Develop automated test cases for new and existing features
• Work with Technical Support to address customer reported issues
• Design - Experience with object oriented software design
• Expected to exercise sound technical judgment and minimize risk.
• Debugging - Strong debugging and problem solving skills 
• Documentation - Must be able clearly and concisely define technical issues

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of software engineer experience 
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (e.g., algorithms, data structures); proficiency in a programming language(s) (e.g., C, C++, Objective C, Java , GoLang )
• Understands scripting using languages like Python, PowerShell , bash , Unix shell
• Understanding of Agile software development methodology
• Knowledge of Internet technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, TCP/IP) , operating system, networking, database and software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure (Azure Service Fabric, Azure Service Bus) , AWS or Google cloud platform is preferred 
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
