You are a Sr. Software Engineer with 5-6 years of experience in a one or more object oriented programming language(s), i.e JAVA, C#, etc. You have gained hands on programming skills and have extensive knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, algorithms and scripting languages/framework. We are seeking talented engineers that are up to the tasks of architecting, designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging services in the cloud for Endpoint Management. You will be working for a product that thousands of companies use to secure, manage and control devices, applications and data.
Job Responsibilities
Working with a talented team deliver world class cloud based software
Design and develop features for our cloud based services
Debugging - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Knowledge and experience using Java/C# is helpful
Deliver code that can scale to a million users
Deliver quality code that meets our product’s high SLA
Contribute to code reviews, implement unit tests, address static analysis issues
Develop automated test cases for new and existing features
Work with Technical Support to address customer reported issues
Design - Experience with object-oriented software design. Expected to exercise sound technical judgment and minimize risk
Documentation - Must be able clearly and concisely define technical issues
Basic Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
5 to 6 years of experience in software product development
Computer Science fundamentals (e.g., algorithms, data structures)
Proficiency in an Object Oriented language(s), e.g. JAVA, C#,. C++
Understanding of Agile software development methodology
Hands on experience with Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS cloud
Basic understanding of networking and data communications
Knowledge of Internet technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, TCP/IP)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud computing technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure (Azure Service Fabric, Azure Service Bus) , AWS or Google cloud platform is preferred
Experience working in a CI/CD environment
