Job Description

The Customer Experience Enablement team is part of Citrix Customer Success business unit. The team’s primary objective is to provide technical & process training for Customer Success employees. The Senior Enablement Specialist develops individual components or deliverables (i.e., hands-on lab exercises and lab environments, on-demand training content (eLearning), presentations, and new hire onboarding program, student evaluations/exams) as part of training projects. In this role, you may personally instruct participants via instructor-led training, lab simulations, and/or virtual training methods. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver training to Customer Success employees:
    • Onboard new hires for employees supporting products in the Citrix business unit.
    • Conduct end of course assessments for new hires.
    • Communicate and provide feedback of new hires to their reporting managers.
    • Manage and maintain new hire onboarding program.
    • Train experienced engineers in new versions/features/components of Citrix product releases.
  • Work with limited supervision to provide highly technical training for customers and internal support engineers on the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of Citrix products and technologies.
  • Lead cross-functional content development projects on Citrix products and related technologies.
  • Recognized within Citrix as a specialist in more than one core Citrix product line and foundational technologies.
  • Keep Support teams advised of product releases, announcements, and trending issues.
  • Promotes team environment by assisting with training and development of fellow employees to improve skills and abilities in the performance of their duties.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members within the Customer Experience Enablement team and other teams such as Supportability, Engineering, Escalation and Marketing.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present technical training material to various audiences (Support, Technical Account Managers, etc.).  Includes non-traditional delivery methods such as training remote audiences through alternative technologies including videoconferencing and webinars.

  • Demonstrated ability to create high quality, advanced technical training collateral; including presentations, lab documentation and setup guides, whitepapers, knowledge base documents, and training videos.  

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead content development projects.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Knowledge of core Virtualization concepts, Citrix VDI and Citrix DaaS, and public cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Viewed as having a specialty within a subject area. May have a broad knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in deployment, configuration, or support of the Citrix core product (such as Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Workspace Environment Management, Citrix App Layering, Citrix Provisioning, Citrix Endpoint Management, Citrix Gateway).

  • Minimum Certifications:

    • CCP-V
    • CC-VAD-CC (CC-DaaS-CC)
