As the Staff Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting business, functional and technical requirements to define software configuration and development for the advancement of our ShareFile business.  You will be the primary point of contact for our business users into the Systems and Process team regarding systems questions, enhancement requests, and production support issues. Provides guidance to users on system usage and functionality and researches industry best practices to help deliver scalable and configurable software. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Is highly experienced in business process mapping and optimization. Is recognized as a subject matter expert. Has demonstrated experience in driving business transformation.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive process discussions with business subject matter experts and stakeholders to facilitate business process improvement.
  • Document use cases, user stories, requirements, and process flows.
  • Responsible for the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Design details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.  
  • Conduct and oversee testing for system changes and fixes.  May also support work of technical developers by providing testing support. 
  • Conduct investigation to understand root cause of problems. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems typically impact multiple departments or specialties. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues
  • Works to fully understand business processes and business user needs.  Translates business asks to technical implementation needs.  Engages more technical team members including architects and/or developers as needed to support enhancements and fixes
  • May manage vendor relationships for specific product area
  • May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area and across multiple teams and departments.  Work is performed with limited oversight.
  • Coach, review, and sometimes delegate work to lower-level employees
  • Configure NetSuite software to support customer business requirements
  • Define detailed functional requirements for automations and integrations to NetSuite
Your Superhero Uniform Includes:  
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience working as a Business or Systems Analyst with ERP Systems.
  • Must have 5 or more years of relevant professional experience TO INCLUDE NetSuite ERP Financials functional solution implementation and/or administration.

Your Superhero Strengths Include:

  • Project and/or team leadership experience. NetSuite implementation “lead consultant” role experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with defining requirements for complex customizations and integrations.
  • Ability to guide end user based on leading practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic, Business Administration or related field a plus.
  • Industry vertical solution domain experience a plus.
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or other NetSuite certifications a plus.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

  • General State ranges $108k-$162k (min-mix) 
  • NYC generally ranges $124k-$186k (min-max)
  •  CA generally ranges $129k-$194k (min-max)
