About This Team

You are a Staff Software Engineer with 8 plus years of experience in Object Oriented Programming Language C#, .Net Technologies, or Java. You’ll be innovating and leading development of software alongside a talented team of developers to create and deliver the latest in Cloud Solutions for our Customer's, Users and Partners Globally. Responsibilities range from conceptualizing ideas, targeted research, and rapid prototyping to determine feasibility, evaluate risks, and then create well-thought-out designs and implementation. The position will initially be focused on the Citrix Workspace Cloud Product Line. You will be involved in Projects from Conceptualizing Ideas, Research and Rapid Prototyping to Testing, Software Designs, Implementation and Deployment of Solutions and IT Products.

In this position, you will be developing leading edge Software alongside a Talented Team of Software Professionals, creating leading innovative Cloud Solutions for our Customers and End Users.

Role Responsibilities

• Interface with Architects, Product Managers, Support, and Operations to understand requirements for developing Proof of Concepts, Prototypes to Final Product Features.
• Compose and maintain design specifications and component documents.
• Design alongside a Team of Engineers focusing on Design First Thinking, incorporating different End User Personas.
• Full Stack Development. Implement Front End development and Back End Development improving Business Logic, enhancing, and building New Features.
• Embrace agile development methodologies like Jira, SCRUM, or Kanban.
• Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards such as Code Reviews, Logging and Instrumentation, Unit Testing within the Team.
• Understand and troubleshoot field issues. Diagnose customer problems through systematic root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Basic Qualifications

• BS or MS degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred, with at least 8 years of directly related work experience.  Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education
• Strong Understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals; Algorithms and Data Structures.
• Solid understanding of implementing Web Application Security, is Desirable and Good to Have.
• Previous experience with Cloud Computing Technologies; Microsoft Azure or AWS or Amazon EC2.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
• Demonstrated Frontend Development with JavaScript or React or AngularJS.
• Demonstrates experience leading Implementation of Moderate to Complex Software.
• Understanding of Application of Scripting in a Core Scripting Language; PowerShell.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory or Azure Active Directory is Desirable and Good to Have.
• Moderate experience with Azure App Insights, New Relic, or other Application Performance Monitoring, is Desirable and Good to Have.
• Moderate knowledge of Sumo Logic or Splunk is Good to Have.
• Moderate knowledge of cryptography is good to have.
