As a Strategic Deal Desk Analyst, you will have a seat at the table with our Sales Leaders and Executive team to create & drive the top line growth in support a +$200M business realizing double digit growth in a fast-growing market. Your goal: Partner and collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing on strategic deals and products in support of the growth of our ShareFile business.

 Role Overview: Now, let’s get to the details. This role will provide expertise in packaging, pricing, and optimizing key transactions working with the Sales teams and Product Marketing teams.  They will help to structure deals that optimize revenue, long term profits and work in collaboration with the Sales team and the customer. This includes:

Strategy

  • Trusted Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor for Sales leaders and Executives on deal structure, sales plays, channel plays, packaging, and product pricing
  • Annual Planning:  Serve as a key stakeholder driving the annual ARR planning process including product pricing and packaging
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME):  Serve as an SME for revenue recognition and internal policies to Sales, Sales Ops, Legal and Finance
  • Portfolio Design and Programs: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other key stakeholders to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements

Execution

  • Pricing Models: Evaluates, oversees, and drives the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning and long-term profits
  • Monitors business environment: ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections
  • Deal Structure: This role will team closely with the account reps on individual deals. Drives transactional pricing and customer negotiations
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation – Take a continues improvement lens to all processes. Practice continuous improvement to simplify the business & shift from reactive to proactive & predictive.

Your Superhero Uniform Includes:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, &/or Pricing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • High Tech SaaS experience preferred
