Cloud Software Group (CSG) is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Cloud Development Engineer to join our dynamic DaaS (Desktop as a Service) team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of our Gateway Service, a critical component of our DaaS infrastructure. You will be working with cutting-edge cloud technologies to deliver a seamless and secure experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of highly scalable and reliable Gateway Service, focusing on performance, security, and availability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Gateway Service architecture, incorporating new technologies and patterns to meet growing demands.
  • Collaborate with architects/leads/engineers on the team and outside the team to implement new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of new releases.
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting production issues, outages, customer escalations and working with support and operations teams to minimize customer impact.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing and micro-services.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in in Computer Science or related field with at least 8 years of overall software development experience.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying software / services using C/C++ or Golang.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices.
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge / experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Knowledge / experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
