Job Description
 

The Lead Consultant is assigned to a portfolio of customers and collaborates closely with the Account Technology Strategist (ATS). The Lead Consultant offers best practice recommendations to ensure that the Citrix platform remains stable, modern, secure, and capable of delivering long-term value. When customers seek to expand their use of Citrix technologies for greater benefit, the Lead Consultant assesses the current environment and requirements, defines optimal solutions, and outlines actionable projects necessary to achieve the desired objectives. Additionally, the Lead Consultant plays a pivotal role in establishing best practices and disseminating knowledge throughout the organization.  

 
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validate and implement the ATS technical strategy, developing comprehensive plans for Citrix solutions that preserve current value and generate new opportunities. Establish multi-year operational strategies for customer technology roadmaps, contributing measurable input to the development of new architectural standards and processes that significantly influence the achievement of functional objectives.
  • Develop solutions to address a broad spectrum of complex and unique client challenges, often requiring extensive research and analysis where information is limited. These issues may span multiple functions and business units. Drive continuous process improvement within the team to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders and internal senior leadership on strategically significant matters. Advocate for the adoption of new architectural concepts, practices, and approaches by clearly communicating the relevant business needs and underlying technical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert with advanced knowledge of Citrix and related technologies, including DaaS/VDI, Secure Access, Networking, and Enterprise Security, providing guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership within the organization by managing large-scale, complex projects of strategic importance. Offer expert advice and mentorship to colleagues across the company, sharing best practices and lessons learned in collaboration with enablement partners.

Required Experience/Skills:
 

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with Citrix products, demonstrating expertise in major platforms including Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Enterprise Browser solutions, or comparable technologies
  • Program Leadership: Demonstrated ability to turn strategy into practical, large-scale action plans with measurable outcomes
  • Technical Aptitude
  • Experience in integrating and managing Citrix solutions
  • Proficiency with enterprise-grade hardware, networking, and various Hyperflex systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of architecture frameworks and methodologies relevant to Citrix products
  • Broad awareness of current technology developments and industry trends
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Customer Management - Experienced in managing all facets of field customer engagement, including delivering presentations, conducting demonstrations, and executing proof-of-concepts for both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure Customer Success - Dedicated to meeting customer requirements to encourage the adoption and growth of Citrix solutions within established accounts.
  • Communication - Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues, with effective written and verbal skills across all organizational levels. Skilled at crafting and delivering oral and written messages that influence the stakeholders
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Travel - May be required to visit customers on occasions and foster stronger business relationships.
