About This Team
The Citrix Solution Architecture team is part of the Citrix business unit within Cloud Software Group. Citrix Solution Architects provide expert guidance to an aligned set of customers, helping them leverage Citrix technology to create value. Travel is a required part of the role (up to 50%), and we offer a flexible work environment, allowing you to balance professional commitments with personal life.
Job Summary
Citrix Solution Architects are mapped to a region of enterprise customers and work in partnership with the Account Technology Strategist (ATS) leader and team for that region. Citrix Solution Architects provide their customers with best practice guidance to help ensure their Citrix platform is stable, modern, secure and provides long-term sustainable value. When customers want to use more Citrix technology to drive additional value, the Solution Architect validates the current state and requirements, defines the recommended solution architecture and the set of actionable projects to successfully deliver on the objective. Solution Architects are key contributors for defining best practices and knowledge sharing.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
In this role, a Citrix Solution Architect will:
Design and implement Citrix solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Engage stakeholders to assess business needs and recommend suitable Citrix architectures.
Provide technical leadership within the organization to drive adoption, reduce risk, accelerate time-to-value.
Collaborate with account teams to provide technical expertise during customer engagements.
Develop strategies to improve and optimize existing Citrix deployments.
Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security standards.
Identify implementation risks and design mitigation strategies.
Work closely with security and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are secure and efficiently integrated within the broader IT environment.
Scale lessons learned and leading practices through collaboration with enablement counterparts.
Enabling customers to understand how a Citrix funded, partner led, Services engagement will directly lead to their success.
Assistance with scoping services engagements.
Experience & Skills
Understanding of Citrix and competitive technologies.
Previous client-facing or consultative experience.
Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise EUC solutions (Citrix or comparable platforms)
Personal interest in cloud transformation and its impact on businesses.
Understanding of the following across the Citrix or comparable platforms:
Familiarity with complementary cloud technologies and integrations.
Stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to confidently host and run strategy or architecture focused customer workshops.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand the business case and articulate the underlying technical solution.
Strong understanding of business processes and how they map to enterprise applications.
Ability to work in and successfully navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, delivering on detail as well as strategy.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Innovative, business-minded, and design-driven.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience are beneficial but not required.
7+ years of technical customer service experience in high-tech, indirect sales, and/or procurement environments with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
Ability to travel.
The following certifications are beneficial but not required. Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCE-V), Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Microsoft Azure Certified (CC-VAD-MA) or Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Amazon Web Services Certified (CC-VAD-AWS), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Updated Security Certifications.
