Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Technologist Enablement Architect defines and manages role-based enablement architectures that build the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required for SA and ATS success. He/she continuously monitors learning engagement and skill progression against defined technical and behavioral competency frameworks, seeking to understand and strengthen the relationship between enablement, field behaviors, customer outcomes, and business impact.

  • This role owns the enablement roadmap for SA and ATS audiences, providing a strategic point of view on content investment, sequencing, and modality. He/she is accountable for driving measurable behavior change, ensuring learning experiences translate into improved architectural quality, reduced delivery risk, stronger technical account strategies, and increased customer adoption.

  • The Lead Technologist Enablement Architect directly oversees and approves the work of learning production vendors and is accountable for the holistic learning experience within Citrix’s LMS/CMS ecosystem. He/she brings deep expertise in modern learning design, program development, and the rollout of AI-enabled, hands-on learning experiences, and stays current on emerging trends in technical enablement and architecture education.

    Key Responsibilities

    Enablement Strategy & Curriculum Ownership

  • Define and own the role-based enablement strategy for Solutions Architects and Account Technical Strategists across the customer lifecycle.
  • Design and maintain curricula and learning pathways aligned to technical competency frameworks, architecture maturity models, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure enablement supports key SA and ATS motions, including discovery, architecture design, deployment planning, risk mitigation, adoption acceleration, and value articulation.

Modern Learning Experience Design

  • Deliver learning experiences that are engaging, predictive, and outcome-focused, minimizing time away from customer work.
  • Leverage AI-enabled learning tools to identify trends, predict skill gaps, and prescribe targeted development paths.
  • Incorporate experiential learning methods such as hands-on labs, simulations, scenario-based learning, and real-world architectural challenges.​

Measurement, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct ongoing learning needs assessments informed by role expectations, field feedback, and customer outcomes.
  • Define and implement evaluation methodologies to measure learning effectiveness, skill growth, and impact on field performance.
  • Establish clear reporting on learning engagement, competency progression, program outcomes, and ROI of enablement investments.
  • Continuously refine content and programs based on data, insights, and evolving business priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Platform Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Marketing/Sales/Technical Operations to ensure enablement aligns with product strategy, technical roadmaps, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for frontline technical leaders to ensure managers have the insights, tools, and guidance needed to coach, assess, and develop SA and ATS talent.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver consistent, high-quality technical enablement across audiences.

Vendor & Platform Management

  • Lead and manage third-party learning and content production vendors, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with enablement objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end learning experience within the LMS/CMS, ensuring content is discoverable, relevant, and continuously optimized.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equal experience
  • Experience designing and delivering enablement for technical, architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Proven experience implementing and scaling competency frameworks and role-based learning programs.
  • Strong understanding of learning evaluation, data fluency, and outcome measurement.
  • Experience managing LMS/CMS platforms, vendors, and complex enablement programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly, concisely, and compellingly to diverse audiences.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Be a problem finder and a problem solver
  • Experience using AI-embedded learning platforms and analytics tools.
  • Background in Solutions Architecture, Technical Strategy, or Customer Success Engineering is highly valued.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior technical and business leaders.
  • Experience working with external training, certification, or content production vendors.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software, cloud platforms, and large-scale customer deployments.

  • Recognized subject matter expert.
  • Manage large projects or processes.
  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NY generally ranges: $126,935-$190,403 CA generally ranges: $132,454-$198,682 All other locations fall under our General State range: $110,378-$165,568 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work.
