About This Team:
Teams primary role to ensure that statutory audit for the various group companies is completed within the due dates. This position will represent the CSG to the external auditors. Support is extended for entire EMEA and APJ regions. Team has familiarity to the internal ERP systems and data flow to understand and explain the accounting flows and transaction. Team coordinates with Legal, Tax team, HR and other necessary teams.


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team with focus on policy and strategy implementation.
  • Establishes operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function.
  • Focus is on short-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year).
  • Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results.
  • Coordination with various internal and external teams during the planning and execution of audits.

    Preparation of schedules, cash flow statement, notes to accounts, accounting policy and financial statements for software companies for statutory audit

    Understanding and acquiring in-depth knowledge of the company’s business and system of accounting

    Represents as the primary contact point and support assigned external auditors to resolve internal/external and escalated queries

    Prepare or update Internal Financial Control documents, risk control matrix etc as per company process

    To collate and where necessary produce/analyze statistical data/reports as required

    Keeps up-to-date with key business changes and process/technical

    Ensuring proper documentation of audit work performed.

    Prepare, update audit plan, audit strategy, allocation of work, weekly work update to the senior leadership and guide and review work done by team if any

  • Has hiring, termination, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.

  • Required Experience/Skills:
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.
  • Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
  • Manages experienced individual contributors within a single discipline within business unit
  • Focus on short-term operations
  • Typically no budget responsibility

  • Qualified Charted Accountant

    Relevant experience of 7-8 years with Elite firms

    Exposure to IFRS
