We're seeking dynamic individuals to join our Systems Engineering team, a pivotal group that acts as the initial user for our products. This team is essential in implementing comprehensive end-to-end deployment and use case scenarios. You'll have the opportunity to identify and bridge gaps, working closely with relevant stakeholders to enhance product functionality and resolve issues.

Your role will be critical in addressing customer concerns. You'll collaborate directly with clients to grasp their network configurations and how our product fits within diverse environments. By simulating these environments in-house, you'll tackle reported issues head-on. Furthermore, your guidance will be invaluable for customers needing assistance in optimizing product features according to design specifications.

Innovation through automation is a cornerstone of our approach. You'll contribute to the extreme automation of customer scenarios, ensuring that our automation suites are triggered automatically across various release trains from day one. This proactive strategy aims to identify product issues as early as possible, embodying our commitment to preemptive system testing.

Moreover, you'll play a key role in our infrastructure automation efforts. This involves creating on-demand infrastructure solutions to support our development and QA teams, streamlining processes, and enhancing productivity.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the system architecture and product overall and mapping functionalities into the customer user cases, verification and validation of those use cases with the product. 

  • Challenging the status quo and identify the gaps in the current system engineering

  • Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively in system engineering

  • Understand the complicated technical situations with customers while focusing on the business value.

  • Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.

  • Work closely with engineering specialists from several domains/test teams to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Owning the customer issues and drive/lead them end to end in terms of reproducing, collaborating dev teams to find out the root causes, and if required, work with customers to interact/understand the customer networks for in house simulation as need be.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Write detailed system test plans based on product/customer requirements (MRS/PRD and Use cases).

  • Experience in authoring Overall System Test Plans for networking/load balancing products

  • Must be well-versed in industry-specific knowledge based on the fundamental systems and equipment required by enterprise solutions. 

  • Knowledge of systems engineering software tools

  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.

  • Experience with virtualisation technologies/platforms like on XenServers, ESXis VMware etc., 

  • Experience with various protocols traffic generator tools like TRex, etc. 

  • Experience with Automation development, scripting languages(eg., shell scripting, python)

  • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

  • Troubleshooting skills in networking domain/test topologies

  • Lead by example, mentor the team and establish credibility through quality technical execution.

  • Hands on in working hybrid-networks that includes dealing with use cases in public clouds (like AWS, Azure or GCP)

  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills

  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Around 12+ years of experience with QA processes, procedures, and tools with at least 7 plus years of experience in system testing.
