Position Overview:

• Citrix DaaS/CVAD team covers core components of Desktop as a Service (DaaS) in both Cloud and On-Prem.

• Citrix Studio is a management console of the DaaS/CVAD products. It is composed of both frontend UI and backend service, which is implemented with modem Web technologies and works together with the Orchestration service (C#, API) at backend to provide DaaS/CVAD management functionalities. 

• Citrix Studio has deep integration with worldwide famous public clouds, such as Azure, AWS and GCP, as well as on-prem hypervisors, such as XenServer, VMware, Nutanix, and etc. 

Responsibilities:

• Work together with Product Managers, Product Design, and Product Security teams, and other developers to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment.

• Work within a feature team to drive the project requirements, planning, design, developing, testing, and automation.

• Work closely with the support team to support customer issues and turn around quickly.

• Maintain and support several components of DaaS in Cloud, with closely work with oversea teams.

• Contributing to and driving improvement of the supportability of DaaS products - creating, writing and modifying software and tools.

• Continuously seeking for innovations.

Basic Requirements:

• Masters, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)

• Over 5 years of work experience in software industry, cloud products, and Azure, AWS, GCP preferred

• Experience in developing and debugging in languages, such as C/C++/C#/Java/Python, etc.

• Experience developing backend services, micro services, cloud services, Rest API, or Web API

• Experience in front end development, such as Java script, Angular and etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent communication skills to management team and technical peers

• Good experience in Agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)

• Technical focused, eager to learn, growth mind always

Preferred Requirements:

• Familiar with Virtualization technologies or Citrix product solutions

• Experience on Cloud Services development, Azure, GCP, or AWS is a strong plus

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Security knowledge and experience is a plus

• Ability to work in cross functional teams

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead team initiatives

• Experience in Scrum master or technical leader

• Strong communication skills, e.g. presentation skills, hosting meetings in English

• Big view of the product, ability to drive big features or critical issues independently.
