About This Team:
The Director of Solution Architecture leads a team of Citrix Solution Architects who are pivotal in designing and implementing Citrix solutions that drive our clients' business transformation. The Director is responsible for overseeing the team's activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

The Citrix Solutions Architects are part of the Solution Engineering function of the Citrix business unit within Cloud Software Group. Solution Architects are aligned with a specific set of customers ensuring their Citrix deployment is aligned to security, performance, resiliency, operations, and cost management best practices. Solution Architects can map out a customer-centric roadmap and the associated architecture methodologies necessary to support the technical strategy of the customer. Solution Architects are thought leaders within Citrix and collaborate with the Citrix Product Management of Technical Marketing teams to help distribute our knowledge through their work.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of Citrix Solution Architects, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

  • Strategic Direction: Set the strategic direction for the team, aligning with overall business goals and integration into the Citrix technology go-to-market

  • Client Engagement: Oversee high priority client engagements, ensuring the team provides exceptional technical expertise and guidance.

  • Solution Design: Define methodologies that can be implemented at scale to ensure high-quality Citrix architecture via the Solution Engineering or associated Partner Services programs

  • Business Agility: Foster collaboration within the team and across other departments, such as Citrix Product Management and Technical Marketing, to leverage the Solution Architecture team’s expertise for strategic impact.

  • Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure the team's success.

  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning the team as thought leaders in Citrix.

     
  • Required Experience/Skills:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and managing a team of technical professionals.

  • Citrix Expertise: Deep understanding of Citrix technologies and their application in enterprise environments.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement a strategic vision for the team and provide value added thought leadership on market trends and their associated impact on Citrix product direction.

  • Client Focus: Strong client-facing skills and experience aligning a technical strategy to an executive priorities and business needs

  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business drivers and the ability to align technical solutions or processes with business objectives.

  • Technical Depth: Broad understanding of the Citrix portfolio and associated capabilities in DaaS/VDI, Applications, Enterprise Browser, Networking, Enterprise Security, and Observability.

  • Innovation: Passion for innovation and a drive to explore new technologies and approaches.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $231,710-$289,638 CA generally ranges; $241,785-$302,231 All other locations fall under our General State range; $201,487-$251,859 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
