At Spotfire, we are building a dynamic team of talented engineers who thrive on solving complex problems. We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer with expertise in .NET and C# to join Spotfire Engineering and the team responsible for the software that develops the data model and calculations for visualizations.

  • Drives technical direction by owning the analysis and conceptual design of complex initiatives. Contributes to architectural decisions and guides the team toward best practices.

The Data Management team is responsible for developing the Spotfire data model and calculations, as well as constructing a visual representation of the data model. In addition, the team develops the Spotfire in-memory engine, written in C++, which includes everything from low-level paging to higher-level SQL-like queries from the visualization layer. Most new development is in C#, and TypeScript is used for UI-related code.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who has:

  • Significant experience (typically 10 or more years) in software development, preferably within a product-based company with a strong focus on .NET and C#.

  • Experience from development in TypeScript and C++ is also very valuable.

  • Prior experience as a tech lead, architect, or similar senior engineering role is a strong plus.

  • Since we value communication highly, you don’t have a problem expressing yourself in either Swedish or English, written and spoken.

  • Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Valid work permit for Sweden.
