Software Developer - Spotfire

As part of this larger ecosystem, the Spotfire Business Unit delivers a visual data science platform enabling subject matter experts to solve business critical problems.

You will join an Engineering team where colleagues with different competencies work closely together. We consider software development a communal art of discovery: Spotfire keeps evolving in our modern office located in central Gothenburg.

The Data Management team is responsible for maintaining Spotfire's in-memory engine, written in C++, including everything from low-level paging to higher-level SQL-like queries from the visualization layer. In addition, the team manages the Spotfire data model, and all calculations as well as constructs a visual representation of the data model. Most new development is in C#, and TypeScript is used for UI-related code.

Experience & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in systems development in .NET and C#.
• Since we value communication highly, you don’t have a problem expressing yourself in either Swedish or English, written and spoken.
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, or similar in kind from a reputable university.
• Valid work permit for Sweden.
• Experience from development in TypeScript and C++ is also very valuable.
