Job Description

The position is of a Senior Software Engineer who designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and debugs complex software applications. You are also expected to design solutions to complex problems involving cross-team collaboration and interaction. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment, while also mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be working on Citrix Workspace App , Web team leading technical initiatives and delivering product value to our 2M+ user installs
• You will be working on modernizing Web applications writing cross platform code using the latest technologies.
• Embrace agile development methodologies (SAFE, Scrum etc.).
• Strong self-motivation and being able to work in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Develop, unit-test, performance-test, debug, troubleshoot, maintain software features for our products and services, existing or new.
• You will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, organizing and performing technical work within the assignment.
• Engage in continuous learning, both on the job and through available technical training, to develop knowledge and skills

Required Experience/Skills:

• B.Tech or BE degree in Computer Science or IT with minimum of 6+ years hands on dev experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structure and algorithm and basic networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in any Object Oriented Programming
• Hands on experience in developing enterprise applications using Web technologies -   JavaScript, HTML,CSS, React JS
• Experience writing unit tests and automation tests with  Jasmine/Jest/Python/Selenium or similar testing framework
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, design patterns and SDLC
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, experience in cloud environment development, back-end systems, distributed computing skills on developing applications for scale, security and reliability is a plus.
• Excellent communication & articulation skills
• Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)
