Position Overview

The position is of a Senior Software Engineer who designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and debugs complex software applications. The role also exercises top-tier judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for acquiring results. We are looking for people who have ideally got experience in working with customers when needed and who can get on calls and understand problems and fix them. You are also expected to design solutions to complex problems involving cross-team collaboration and interaction. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment, while also mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

Role Responsibilities

You will be working on the Citrix Workspace App team delivering product value to our ~100M+ user base on the Citrix workspace app and Citrix Enterprise browser products.

• Design and develop libraries & SDKs for multiple operating system platforms.

• You will be expected to contribute to multiple projects according to business needs. 

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. 

• Engage in continuous learning, both on the job and through available technical training, to develop knowledge and skills 

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

• Embrace Agile development methodologies ( SAFE ,SCRUM etc.).

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and help them succeed in their responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with

• 6-8 years of hands-on development experience.

• Proficiency in software development using C/C++/C#

• Good knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, OOPS and OS

• Hands on experience in Multi-threaded programming, crash dump analysis.

• Good knowledge of networking concepts, Windows internals. Knowledge of Linux internals & services would be a plus.

• Experience of accessing data as JSON/XML using REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Web Technology/ReactJS, Android/Kotlin or iOS/Objective-C is a plus

• Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)
