Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define project requirements and timelines.
  • Drive the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable software systems that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them grow both technically and professionally.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges and risks to ensure project success.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
  • Required Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++ and or C#
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Should have prior experience in Desktop apps development
  • Strong debugging skills, good to have prior experience in working on customer issues
  • Should be aware of networking concepts, Operating Systems specifically Windows
  • Good to have some exposure working in AI, proficiency in python
