About This Team:
The CVAD/DaaS performance test team is responsible for delivering high-quality releases for customers. The team is self-motivated, and owns the product with full sense of responsibility and customer empathy.
You will play an important role on the team to help develop world-class CVDA/DaaS products. Together with other talented team members, you will be focusing on not only testing, troubleshooting and maintaining software components for existing and new products, but also customer requirements and project objectives while mitigating project and product risks.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of working of network, system administration, and databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases.
Design and execute test cases based on requirements.
Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide valuable input on testability and quality aspects.
Conduct product testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in QA methodologies.
Required Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing system applications.
Experience in developing and maintaining automated scripts.
Experience with hypervisors or clouds.
Windows Operating Systems and Active Directory knowledge.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Optional Experience/Skills:
Solid programming/scripting skills in languages such as Powershell, C#, or Python.
Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Chef or other.
Experience with relational, time-series, or NoSQL databases.
Experience working with OS & Networking advanced concepts.
Experience with Linux server and workstation administration.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with modern hypervisors XenServer, Hyper-V, Vsphere or other.
Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP or any other public or private cloud.
