As a Software Engineer on the ShareFile Clients team you will be part of a team directly impacting our mission by engineering ShareFile client tools for the next evolution of the knowledge worker digital frontier. Your goal: enable Windows desktop users of ShareFile to manage and share content seamlessly and easily.

Role Overview:

Now, let's get to the details. This role will act as a team player with a focus on the ShareFile client experience on Windows.

This includes:

• Strategy

  • Building the Right Things:  Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that they have the components they need, when they need them.

  • Versatile: Collaborate on a team that collectively owns ShareFile Windows, Apple, and Android-based client development as well as the related code pipeline integration.

• Execution

  • Technical Excellence: Contribute at a high-quality level to the design and implementation of systems and user experiences related to Windows desktop client applications.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to regular engagements with critical cross-functional stakeholders such as other engineering teams, product design, PM, marketing, and operations.

Your Superhero Uniform Includes (Required Experience and Skills)

• Experience engineering performant and scalable native Windows applications with Visual Studio (C++, C#, WPF).
• Good understanding of C++ / OOPS fundamentals
• Practical knowledge of using debugging and troubleshooting solutions.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git/BitBucket).

Your Superhero Strengths Include (Preferred Experience and Skills)

• Experience with databases, preferably SQL Server or SQLite.
• Experience integrating apps as plug-ins or add-ins within the Microsoft Office ecosystem.
• Previous experience working with Cloud platforms; AWS, Azure or GCP
