Interviews are a great opportunity to learn more about the job, meet members of the hiring team, and to discover if the job aligns with your career aspirations.

While scheduling your onsite interview, you will receive emails from the recruiting team with details on where to go, what time, and more. This contact will also be able to answer any questions you may have.

Interview tips and best practices

The onsite interview is an opportunity to learn more about Cloud Software Group -- and to find out if the team and culture align with your preferences in your next position and company.


Here are a few interview tips to consider:

  • Take time to study the job description. Match each requirement to your previous experience and interests.
  • Know your strengths, areas of opportunity, and accomplishments that align with the position.
  • Have specific and relevant examples of your work history ready to share. Prepare an elevator pitch to tell us about your career arc and trajectory.
  • Be able to succinctly share accomplishments you’re proud of. Be sure to focus on measurable outcomes – the data that shows your success.
  • Prepare thoughtful and relevant questions for the interviewers. This is a great opportunity to learn more and have the hiring team picture you in the role – plus it shows your strong interest in the position.

What to wear:

Your interview and work attire can vary depending on your personal preference. Some team members wear business professional, while others wear jeans and t-shirts. Use your discretion for what to wear during the interview. Select attire that is comfortable, makes you confident, and enables you to showcase who you are and why you would like to work for Cloud Software Group.


Bring your phone, laptop, device-chargers, and any other essentials:

Ensure you have a fully charged mobile device, so you are able to contact us if needed. Should you choose to bring a laptop, please keep it safely in a backpack or laptop case. Always keep it in your possession. (We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.)



Don’t hesitate to ask your interview scheduler about any questions you may have, even if it’s a day-of text message. (Plan for directions, parking details, entry process, etc.)

We will offer you regular breaks. Please let your interview team know if you need an additional break or water during your interview schedule.

Common questions related to onsite interviews


1)  Do I have to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated to attend onsite interviews?

No. At this time we are not requiring visitors to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter an office or attend onsite interviews. We ask that you wear a mask if you have not received all recommended doses of the primary vaccines and any booster(s) for which you are eligible.


2)  I am not comfortable participating in an onsite interview at this time. Could I do a virtual interview instead?

3)  Will I have to wear a mask during onsite interviews?

Candidates are encouraged to wear a mask if they are not fully vaccinated. Any individual is certainly welcome to wear a mask if they prefer.


4)  Will I need to present a negative COVID-19 test to attend an onsite interview?

COVID-19 testing is not required to enter a Cloud Software Group office. 


5)  I don’t feel well and my interview is tomorrow. What should I do?

If you are not feeling well and your onsite interview is approaching, please let your interview team know as soon as possible so we can reschedule. We want to avoid spreading any sickness as well as enable you to perform at your best.
