Americas Benefits & Pension Administration
Manage overall administration and compliance for all Americas Benefit Programs including Medical, Dental and Vision plans, 401(k)/Retirement programs as appropriate by country
Drive annual renewals in the Americas to ensure cost effective renewals while driving strong benefit programs to meet the needs of employees
Serve as the primary liaison with benefit consultants, brokers, and plan providers to ensure efficient plan administration.
Research, analyze and recommend new benefit programs for Company to remain competitive and manage costs related to benefit plans.
Serve as the subject matter expert in 401(k), audit, compliance and coordinates the 401(k) Fiduciary Committee meetings
Ensures compliance with governmental regulations related to benefit programs and labor law, including ERISA, FMLA, ACA, and HIPAA. This includes required testing, audits, SOX compliance and government filings.
Develop and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications to ensure employees are well informed about their programs.
Americas Leave of Absence & Time off Administration
Oversee administration and compliance for short-term and long-term disability programs, leave of absence programs, and time-off policies across the Americas.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and legislative updates.
Partner with HRIT to ensure leave types and time-off programs are accurately configured and maintained in systems.
Develop employee-facing communications and tools to promote clarity and understanding of leave benefits.
Provide mentorship and oversight to ensure compliant and efficient leave administration processes.
Additional Responsibilities
Lead the strategic vision, analysis, communication, and administration of employee benefit programs to support company growth, business objectives, and talent acquisition and retention goals.
Drive continuous improvement of People Operations processes with a focus on simplification, efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
Conduct budgeting and financial analysis of benefits programs, including forecasting, cost modeling, and monitoring high-cost claims.
Ensure accurate financial planning and tracking of benefits expenditures.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence, benefits harmonization strategy, and implementation
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
8+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
Minimum 4+ years of direct 401(k) and compliance administration experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, financial analysis, reporting).
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
Deep understanding of government regulations impacting benefit programs (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA).
