The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) role will align the HR Center’s of Excellence (COE) outputs and local Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) delivery.  The aim is to build efficiencies and create scale, to help HRBPs deliver consistent experiences across different organizations. The core services include:  1) Provide input to COEs (including cross functional teams for enterprise-wide, HR Transformation efforts), represent the voice of the HRBP, as they design solutions from ideation through execution; 2) Support HRBPs in execution and business specific customizations (Rhythm Of the Business (ROB) delivery); 3) Create, deliver and maintain HRBP tools, resources and communications

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver on ROB engagement plans and communications, ensuring the HRBP community is well informed and engaged real-time, with resources to support their delivery of work

  • Provide agreed upon cadence of data; include initial analysis and recommendations (attrition, compensation, onboarding/offboarding, spans and layers, etc.)

  • Support restructuring efforts (working with the business to create and validate business justifications, participate and/or lead legal reviews, act as HR notifier, etc.)

  • Support M&A activities as required

  • Frequent feedback loop with the HR Business Partner community. Establish rigor to regularly gather the HRBP point of view on a variety of business issues and challenges. Seek to understand and anticipate what HRBPs will need to deliver to the business.

  • Continue strong partnership with the HR Center Of Excellences (COEs) who are responsible for HR Operations, Workforce Planning, People Analytics and Manager led hiring. Collaborate with COEs to innovate and design practical solutions to address identified and prioritized challenges and opportunities, while representing the voice of the HRBP.

  • Provide independent operational support to employees and managers on HR matters during the HR lifecycle in the assigned area

  • Responsible for providing coaching and guidance to others as required

  • Assist with HR projects (as requested by the HRBP leader)

  • Support global Mobility / Immigration as required

  • Compensation – support leaders with job profile selection, level selection, salary range assistance

 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • University or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent

  • Experienced HR professional with relevant HR experience with data review and analysis throughout the full HR life cycle

  • Ideally a person who has worked in a fast paced and dynamic international corporate environment

  • Ability to work under limited supervision

  • Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Tech savvy - comfortable with technology and strives to make things better

  • Experience with simplification initiatives

  • High degree of flexibility and solution-oriented thinking

  • Experience in HR software, Workday preferred

  • Proficiency with Google Applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
