As the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of 8 – 10 software engineers who will build and maintain ShareFile Mobile and Desktop Clients for our customers.  Being able to collaborate on your content efficiently from Mobile and Desktop  is critical for our business .  Your Goal : enable Mobile and Desktop users of ShareFile to manage and share content seamlessly and easily.

Role Overview

Now, let’s get to the details. This role will act as Engineering leader for ShareFile Client apps team ( Mobile + Desktop ) 

• Incremental Delivery:  Continuously deliver value to our customers through frequent releases of meaningful features.

• Product Ownership:  Create technical vision, execute roadmaps, own the backlog, and manage prioritisation and trade-offs with business stakeholders across multiple projects

• Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a regular engagement cadence with critical cross-functional stakeholders 

• Continuous Improvement: Always looking for opportunities to improve our services, process, and interactions to provide a superior product to our customers

• Strategy

  • Drive the Vision: Partner with key stakeholders to define and execute the vision for Client Apps 

  • Build the Team:  Hire, develop and manage a high-performing team of 8 – 10  engineers

  • Measure what Matters:  Define the OKRS and metrics to communicate project and team status, and identify areas of excellence and improvement

• Technical:

  • Hands on experience developing mobile apps , desktop apps  or Web apps with strong client side experience.

  • Experience developing apps in SWIFT , Objective -C , C# / C++/Java , Windows UI development , Cross -platform frameworks 

•  People

  • Set clear goals and coach them to accomplish the same

  • Experience in Building high performance teams

Your Superhero Uniform Includes:

• 2+ years’ experience as an engineering manager

• 7+ years’ experience as a software engineer

Your Superhero Strengths Include: 

• Cross platform solution development experience in React Native / Flutter 

• Experience in SRE/DevOps, including deployment pipelines, test automation, monitoring and alerting, and incident response
