Jaspersoft is seeking an experienced Product Management Leader to drive operational efficiency and customer delight with our BI and reporting platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer focus, and leadership to collaborate across engineering, customer success, support, sales, marketing and the community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of owning product roadmaps, aligning priorities, and fostering user engagement in a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, aligning with company objectives and customer needs.

  • Translate market insights, customer feedback, and technical capabilities into actionable priorities for engineering teams.

  • Monitor competitive trends and adapt strategies to position Jaspersoft as a market leader.

Collaboration with Engineering Teams

  • Partner with engineering leads to prioritize features and technical initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

  • Balance short-term customer needs with long-term technical innovation and scalability.

Engagement with Sales Teams and Customers

  • Work closely with sales to understand customer pain points and translate them into solutions that drive adoption and revenue.

  • Engage directly with key customers to gather feedback, identify use cases, and promote the product’s value.

Community and Documentation Ownership

  • Drive engagement with the developer community to foster adoption, gather feedback, and build product advocacy.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and accuracy for both internal and external users.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within the software industry.

  • Proven experience in product operations: managing product lifecycles, including prioritization, roadmap development and management, and release planning.

  • Background in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.

  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, and other technical as well as executive stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Excellent collaboration skills across diverse teams, including engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing.

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed engineering teams.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Jaspersoft or similar reporting/business intelligence platforms.

  • Strong understanding of technical documentation best practices.

  • Proven ability to engage with and grow a technical user community.

  • Open Source experience

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $192,935-$241,169 CA generally ranges; $201,323-$251,654 All other locations fall under our General State range; $167,770-$209,712 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
