Job Description Summary: 

The Citrix GSI Solutions Strategist responsible for one or more selected Global System Integrator (GSI) partners. The primary objective is to help ensure the full range of Citrix products, technology and features are firmly embedded within the offerings our selected GSI partners take to their customers; resulting in increased and improved usage of Citrix technology within our customer base.  

Responsibilities

As part of the role the Citrix GSI Solutions Strategist will need to:

  • Build and maintain the technical relationships with the GSI

  • Be viewed as a technical expert on Citrix technologies and GSI offerings in all the spaces they cover.

  • Act as a thought leader and influencer driving technical business development

  • Coordinate technical enablement within the GSI on new and existing Citrix technologies

  • Manage roadmaps to ensure alignment between GSI solution catalog and Citrix GTM needs

  • Understand the Cloud Software Group sales plays and ensure the GSI is aligned with the same outcomes

  • Connect the Citrix Account Technology Strategist (ATS) with their relevant counterparts within the GSI

  • Be the technical integration point between the GSI partner and the Citrix business unit product managers, providing inputs on enhancements, blockers and other requests that enable growth of our mutual business.

  • Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and customer-facing publications. Sharing best practices and insights with the broader community.

Experience & Skills

  • An experienced technical leader with business development experience

  • Extensive written and verbal communication skills and comfort in communicating at executive level.

  • A skilled mediator, able to suggest creative solutions to resolve conflicts between parties

  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and experience working with large IT product and services partners, and a depth of technical experience in Cloud Software Group (Citrix / NetScaler) solutions. 

  • Experience in consulting practices, especially within GSIs

  • Excellent strategic and operational skills to help define a common strategy and business plan. 

  • Comfortable working independently whilst keeping all parties informed

  • Ability to showcase innovative reference architectures that align with proven business outcomes.

  • Capable of building a business case and articulating the underlying technical solution.

  • Innovative, business minded, and design driven. 

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $197,954-$247,443 CA generally ranges; $206,562-$258,202 All other locations fall under our General State range; $172,134-$215,168 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
