Positions Overview:

Citrix NetScaler is a top of the line ADC from Cloud Software Group. It is primarily used for providing L4-L7 services like Load Balancing, Caching, Compression, Gateway etc., NetScaler Config & API Team is working on an infrastructure that enables Config Management of the NetScaler instances in different deployment modes like High Availability, Cluster, Multi-tenant enabled and in different form-factors like Physical Instance, Virtual Appliance, and as a Container through APIs/CLIs.

You will be an integral part of designing & developing management plane solutions for NetScaler. Team involved in this project are solving some of the most challenging problems in the industry such as Life cycle mgmt. of config/Device, effective use of Databases, Designing highly scalable Config Management infra, System & Methods to enable Propagation & Synchronization across distributed systems, Designing scalable API Interface for NetScaler, Building Infrastructure as Code(Ansible, Terraform) platforms for lifecycle mgmt of NetScaler.

You will work with the highly talented and motivated engineers in the NetScaler team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of large scale distributed Configuration mgmt infrastructure .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • Utilize networking knowledge to optimize and debug network-related components.

  • Use diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, GDB, Valgrind, and profilers to analyze and optimize software performance.

  • Establish and ensure adherence to IaaC best practices and standards.

  • Stay current on emerging technology trends and cloud and infrastructure automation solutions that can be integrated into the development process when appropriate.

  • Should be able to conduct customer workshops, troubleshooting sessions, community training & Demo, public whitepapers/solution guides.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Software Development

  • Proficiency in Go, Python, C/C++, DataStructures and Design Patterns

  • Proficiency in modern scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.

  • Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful API development.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and (CI/CD) pipelines like Jenkins.

  • Working knowledge on Cloud platform like AWS/AZURE/GCP

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Demonstrated experience in writing clean code in large codebases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Networking stack L2-L7 layers

  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Apache benchmarking tools

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.

  • Startup mindset – highly passionate, team player, high sense of urgency, willingness to roll up sleeves and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced business.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
