YOU as a Engineering Manager with expertise in mobile domain, flexible and open to work in different technologies if required, willing to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds,  customer focused , ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace and work on cutting-edge technology in the world of mobile!

As a manager you will oversee deliverables of enterprise Android & iOS apps, collaborates with engineering leadership & product management to understand the requirements & value it adds, does feasibility studies, decomposes complex product & engineering requirements into simpler and straight forward solutions.  One who collaborates with specialists from desktop & web platforms, services, infra and product design to deliver products that are user-friendly, optimized, secure and scalable.  As a technical leader focus on innovation/patents, strongly advocate code re-usability, avoid duplicate efforts and act as a gatekeeper to ensure teams follow highest level of engineering practices.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 10-12 engineers with varying degrees of experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Own and manage the product engineering roadmap & releases, prioritizing performance, scalability, and quality.
  • Debug and handle complex technical design discussions across various stakeholders.
  • Understand and enforce best security practices.
  • Track and report project and feature status to executive level.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Actively supports, communicates and enforces the company’s software engineering processes and standards.
  • Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle.
  • Manage team skills and actively recruit top talent.

  • Required Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelors/Masters/PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with 12-15 years of overall software development experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering management.
  • Must have delivered 2-3 large projects in production and well versed with handling of post-production customer escalations.
  • Very good understanding of Mobile platforms – Android and/or iOS.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology (preferably scrum).
  • Excellent communications skills and able to lead a team of highly technical individuals.
  • Experience/Exposure to development tools (GitHub Co-pilot), Automation testing (Robo/UiPath framework) and CI/CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)
